Work day 2

Hello! I have almost completed half of my first week.. and it's been pretty good so far! Today after work I went to eat at a Mexican restaurant with some relatives before I met with a couple of my closest friends to catch up, since we hadn't seen each other for a while and some are going on trips!

Coast to Coast USA - Day 5

This was the day I had the least pictures from, we ate and then started the bus ride to Philadelphia. The pictures show a cool car we drove past, and my voss water bottle which I bought the day before.

We ate, and got a guided tour around Philadelphia. All the pictures are of the murals they have in Philadelphia, though me and pretty much everyone fell asleep on the guided tour, and it wasn't very interesting, at least not in my opinion. 

Then we drove the bus to Fairfax, Virginia. Where we ate, I got pasta, and then we went to sleep.

WARNING! Long post

Where do I even begin? Lots of things have happened! I haven't blogged for soon to be two weeks?? I'm failing at this... Anyway, I thought I'd update you with what's new in my life.

This is from last week's Tuesday and Wednesday I believe. I went out to eat a lot, hung out at Ella's house and the sunset picture is from when I drove home from there.

Then I slept at Ella's house for two days, with two sets of different people. These pics are from the second day*, which also happened to be Midsummer.

We went out and took a lot of pictures, danced like maniacs and had loads of fun.

Then I had time to catch up with this beauty, have a birthday part for my relatives before I had to get packing. The selfie is portraying my feelings of dread to take the train all by myself for the first time. But it was a lot of fun, and you can see me watching the newest episode of Pretty Little Liars.

In Helsinki I had such a good time! Shopping, eating, going to the movies, just hanging out! I didn't actually take a lot of photos, so this can't give an accurate picture of how much fun we had.

Then I took the train to Tampere to see my other friends! Oh and on the picture in the left, corner you can see me, Inka (whom I visited in Helsinki) and Veera (Tampere), that picture is a year old. On the snapchat selfie, right next to them, you can see me and Sara from her birthday party which was this Friday. I met all of these lovely people on my language trip a year ago!

After one fun night in Tampere I got on the train back home. On the upper picture, is the view from the car, driving back to Sara's apartment, where I got two hours of sleep before I had to wake up.

Then today I started filming a new video! This will be a haul, but I don't know when I'll post it, my summer job starts tomorrow so I'll have to see how much time I have!

I wish that I could be like the cool kids

What is wrong with me?? Wow, normal way to start a blog post. But SERIOUSLY?? I said I was gonna start blogging regularly and I only manage to do it for 2 days straight. You guys deserve so much more from me and I would promise to blog more often but I'm not sure I'd keep that promise and since I like to be a woman of my word I can (sadly) not guarantee better blogging. I can however do my best to rectify the problem and try to get some posts out for you guys. And I know I only loose blog followers when I don't blog, which is sad since I did have a whole bunch not too long ago.

Anyway, a lot has happened in the two weeks I've been gone and I thought I'd try to show and tell with pictures and words. But (sadly) I haven't brought my camera or even thought about taking pictures at all times, so there'll be some things left out.

But as you can see from the pictures above I've spent a whole lot of time with these two, great gals!

 

I spent some time with my youngest cousin when his older brother got confirmed, I've tried to tan (and failed miserably since I'm as pale as ever), I went shopping with my mom and we got lunch at Raawka which is an eco restaurant that specialises in raw and vegan food. It was delicious. Then I've also spent loads of time with some of my bbs.

Then I turned 17! I celebrated that day (the 9th of June, remember that date) with some Ice tea and other fun things. This past weekend me and my good friend Fanny (who also just recently turned seventeen) invited eight close friends for a waffle-brunch! It was so fun to catch up with a lot of my friends from school since we don't see each other as much on the holidays! 

After the birthday celebration my weekend passed by rather quickly but with a lot of fun things done! The last three pictures are from today and It's been a good day for me. I've had a great start to this summer and I have a whole lot of fun things planned for the rest of the summer as well! Usually I'm not very social over the summer but I seem to have changed, there have hardly really been any days without spending time with someone.

Taco (salad) tuesday! (It's actually wednesday but who's keeping track?)

 

hello everybody!

One of the great things I've been able to experience recently is a sense of freedom in my own home. Now that my summer break is in full swing I have a lot of free time for about a month until my summer job starts. But even better than that is that everybody else in my family is working! So I have the house to myself most days. Since I'm one of those people that actually likes solitude and I enjoy the company of myself (I love being with people as well) this is really great!

One of the many things I'm enjoying is being the boss of what I cook for myself. For example I ate a taco salad today! It was delicious and It's really easy to make, you just get whatever you usually put on a taco and eat that instead!

And there I go saying that I'm gonna start blogging regularly again. What do I do? Ofc I forget to blog. Oh well I'm not sure any of you have missed me that much since there are plenty of blogs out there to read.

Summer came so quickly after all the stress from school I haven't even been able to take it all in. The weather hasn't helped either, it's been pretty awful. So windy and rainy, how am I going to get my tan this summer? Jokes aside (the joke was about my tan, not sure all of you got it... I'm really pale and have trouble getting tan xD) my start of the summer hasn't really been that interesting. Reading, sleeping, eating and watching tv-series. Actually I did go into town to meet up my friend E today, to get some shopping done and eating at subway. We also stumbled upon L and went to get ice-cream together. I'll probably do a haul post with what I bought later on this week.

The probably most interesting thing that has happened is getting a new outside couch, which you can spot on all the pictures above. I haven't been able to enjoy it too much, because of the weather but hopefully I'll get a lot of opportunities this summer.

I do have loads of plans for summer though, Spain, working, hopefully a trip to both Sweden and Helsinki but that still needs some planning. I hope to visit some amusement parks, beaches, spend loads of time riding my penny board and having picknicks with my friends. And only a week until my seventeenth birthday! That will surely be a blast!
